  1. Travel, housing and food expenses to attend the CURE workshop at Emory University for both team members.
  2. Funds to pay for supplies and DNA sequencing expenses to conduct the bean beetle microbiome CURE at your institution in a total of two laboratory sections (these funds should be sufficient for two sections with as many as 24 students per section, one section per semester for two semesters).  You also will receive a starter bean beetle culture.
  3. A stipend of $500 following the submission of student generated research data and student assessment data from each of the two laboratory sections in which the bean beetle microbiome CURE was taught ($1000 total per team).  You will also provide student assessment data, as requested, from laboratory sections in which the bean beetle microbiome CURE was not implemented as a control group.
  4. Support for you and an undergraduate student to attend a regional or national scientific meeting  to present the research results of your bean beetle microbiome CURE.
